AI Use Policy
Brand Magazine uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools in parts of its publishing. This policy explains where we use them, where we do not, and how readers can tell.
Where we use AI
- News reports: short business, markets and policy news reports are drafted with AI-assisted tools from published public sources such as company releases, regulator and government publications. These reports appear under the Brand Magazine Newsroom byline.
- Production support: we may use AI tools for tasks such as summarizing source documents, suggesting headlines and categories, and checking spelling and grammar.
Where we do not use AI
- Cover stories, profiles, interviews and features published under a named writer’s byline are written by that person.
- Guest columns and Industry Voices pieces are written by their named authors.
- We do not use AI to invent quotes, sources, people or events.
Our safeguards
- AI-assisted reports must be based on a traceable, citable source.
- They follow the same Editorial Standards as the rest of the magazine.
- Errors are corrected under our Corrections Policy.
